Dine-in on 19 Sep 2026, 8:37pm, Table 9, Receipt #104930 at Xiang Taiwanese Dessert and Food, Upper Thomson. Ordered N06, N17, N18, N23 and a Hot Gingko Barley. 1. Rice and noodles were too salty. 2. Mee Sua was completely cold, not even lukewarm. 3. Teriyaki chicken in N23 looked like it had been sitting for a while, dry and not fresh. 4. The Hot Gingko Barley came with ZERO ginkgo nuts inside. Only after I told the counter did they bring 4 nuts. Please check ingredients before serving.

They have a weekday set lunch for $5.8 - I had their pork chop rice and added milk tea for $1 (no ++ for all) so it was a very affordable meal. The pork chop was quite big and tender but the milk tea was just ok. Decor was quite cute and had some Taiwanese flavour to it. They seem to give a dessert for reviews but they didn't approach me to ask for a review (maybe I should ask for a dessert the next I go there haha).

Chill spot serving up Taiwanese food. Ordered the pork cutlet lunch set which came with a side of mala enoki, pickles, egg and seaweed soup. Great value as everything was less than $10; just the main itself would have been a good meal. Each dish, while not spectacular, held its own, and I did enjoy the enoki that had a good amount of mala spice. Overall, a decent spot for lunch/dinner if in the area, especially when considering the price point and location

We chanced upon this Taiwanese restaurant along Upper Thomson Road on an early Sunday evening. It was quiet and unassuming, but had a surprisingly extensive menu of food and desserts—including some of our favourites: chicken and pork chop rice and noodles, as well as bubble tea! The portions are generous and very reasonably priced at around SGD 10 per person. The chicken was tasty and went well with the rice, scallion noodles and misua we ordered. We also loved their simple but delicious lettuce with oyster sauce, which made for a great side dish. Bonus: My daughter really enjoyed their signature bubble tea! A lovely little find in the neighbourhood. We’ll definitely be back!

My go-to place whenever I miss Taiwanese food. Always came to order their signature dessert. Prices are reasonable and they do not charge GST and service charge.

Food is ok and fairly priced. Milk tea is average and too sweet
