Sơn Trà Marina

Great location, nice view nice place,BUT, because of its popularity and viral videos on Instagram, the place its packed with tourist and locals alike, and to accea the area you need to consume. The other downside, is that they seem to have preferences for certain tourists and or locals, as we were told there was no siting or room for us, yet when accessing the place, it was full of empty tables and more than enough room for anyone size party to sit and even order. The coffe is average cant say anything about the food though. If you come here expect to buy at list one drink to get access to the area for pics and videos. And don't think you'll get a table unless you are in their desired list of tourist...

I travel here often and have encountered scams, price gouging, and cleanliness issues before. I've never left a bad review, but this place is the first. There were many staff members, but none of them were serving or assisting tourists. I saw the coffee being served without any regard for the tour group, and it was so sweet it was undrinkable. I understand I forgot to ask for less sugar, but I did ask them to add some milk to reduce the sweetness, and they only added 1-2 drops, yet it was still excessively sweet.

Discovered this place by accident. Yes, it is a touristy photo trap, but this is Vietnam. We tend to forget two things I feel: Vietnam culture for young people is all about the photo and the 'right' photo, almost like a national obsession, however it is harmless fun. SECONDLY and I will be a bit careful here...for many reasons, the vast majority of Vietnamese will not have the opportunity to go to Europe, so why not just bring Europe to Vietnam, again it's harmless fun and you see lots of happy faces. As someone else mentioned, it's a replica of Santorini and I am sure that if you did go to Santorini, you would be taking photos without really immersing yourself in local culture.

Food and drinks taste were fine but just too focus on decorating for pictures rather than consistent taste, the atmosphere were nice but its quite overcrowded, overall nice would recommend, but cleaning service staff were only sitting and chitchatting have to call them out for table cleaning which they see us sitting but decided to overlook.

I am actually surprised to see a cafe that feels like Greece. This is a really nice concept, a beautiful cafe situated near the beach, and a lot of people come here just to take photos. Obviously, this is kind of overcrowded and a very touristic place, so the food prices are above average, but they are actually good, so no complaints here. But I took some really, really good photos here. I think it's a must to see if you are in Da Nang. Like, it doesn't feel like Vietnam anymore.

Beautiful views and lots of great photo spots. However, it was very crowded, extremely hot with no air-conditioned area, and the service was just average. Great for photos, but I probably wouldn’t come back.

If you’re looking for a taste of Europe right here in Da Nang, look no further - this is the place for you! Just keep in mind that there is a minimum charge of one drink per person to enter. It's a super popular spot, and we saw so many people dressed up taking beautiful photos! Maybe best to visit during sun set !

I had a disappointing experience at Sontra Marina. The food was quite underwhelming and did not meet the expectations given the location and ambiance of the place. The dishes lacked flavor and felt poorly prepared. What made the experience worse was the service. The staff were not attentive to customers and rarely checked on the tables. It was difficult to get their attention, and when we needed assistance, it took a long time before someone came over. Overall, the experience did not live up to what we expected. I hope the management at Sontra Marina can improve both the quality of their food and their customer service, as the location has great potential.
