Hong Lim Market & Food Centre

Hong Lim mkt is my favourite place for local hawker food. I love the teochew Porridge n one is spoilt for choice. Was here last week for the famous chat kway teow. As usual the queue was long but the assurance of getting a dish was a member of the stall who went to those in the queue to take orders. The kway teow this time round was a bit dry n not moist. Not really yummy like before.

Experience the most authentic, down-to-earth, and warm atmosphere of Singapore! In Singapore, unless absolutely necessary, avoid eating at restaurants. Food courts are filled with affordable Michelin-starred restaurants, and you'll only regret not having a bigger stomach to try them all. Kee Kee's signature wonton noodles (dry), famous char kway teow, lakasa seafood noodles, curry puffs, bak kut teh, muffins, kaya toast... they have it all! Highly recommended! Even though the shops are busy, and the popular ones always have long queues, the older staff are quick, efficient, and incredibly friendly; a few words of greeting will warm your heart.

A lot of nice local food. Too spoilt for choice. One of the top 3 hawker Centers in singapore for me. Except of the stalls sold out too early. Ample parking and tables but peak hour still insanely hard to find a parking slot or table that why only come once in a while or after peak hour as a Singaporean who don't work or stay near here. After 130pm most shop will be sold out or close, choice will be reduced. However still highly recommend this place to all my visiting friends from overseas. Take a grab, come early. It's worth it!

The atmosphere of a hawker ctr is certainly present. Food options are plenty...but mainly noodle-related dishes, if you're alright to have noodles for breakfast. No other staples such as cheese cheong fun, soya bean etc...the traditional sort of breakfast.

Hong Lim Market & Food Center is quite popular at the Chinatown area. Hong Lim building is pretty old and rundown but yet still attract many people. They have nice food such as Curry Chicken Bee Hoon Mee, Fishball Noddle, Char Kway Teow, Minced Pork Mushroom Noddle, Curry Puff, Teochew Porridge and Vegetarian stalls. Level 1 is wet market and food center and level 2 is mainly food center. They are also surrounded by some convenient and fruit stalls. This location is very convenient as just beside MRT. If you are around Chinatown, can try to visit here.

Hong Lim market has an excellent Muslim store which is a must try! Most people come for the Chinese food which is known here. Char kway teow, hor fun, curry noodles, wanton mee ,etc.. But head to ground floor corner #01-57 Dapur Alishah.. one of the best Nasi Padang i have tried. Try the lemak chicken, sayur lodeh, chilli prawns , chilli fish in fact all the dishes with chilli. Friendly boss, mohd Ali , working alone cooks unforgettable dishes. A must try! Affordable price.. 6sgd gets u a fantastic meal.. Two thumbs up!

Very busy at lunch time hour, long queues depending on which food stall. Michelin rated stalls have long wait time. Had Tanglin Puffs. Delicious 😋. Will be back for sure....

My favourite stalls are Cantonese Delights, Hong Xing fishball noodles and bittergourd fish soup. Never disappoints 😋
