The drinks selection is equally solid, with enough range to keep both the casual drinker and the more discerning guest happy. What elevates the experience, however, is the service. Kai Li, the manager, sets the tone from the moment you walk in. Warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable without being intrusive. That personal touch makes a real difference. The ambience rounds it all out: comfortable, unhurried, and welcoming across demographics. Whether you are winding down with colleagues after work, catching up with friends over drinks, or bringing the family for a relaxed dinner, George's adapts effortlessly. A well-rounded neighbourhood spot that punches above its weight. Highly recommended. If I open my own f&b, sure hire Kai Li

Back here second time for the Guinness.

Clashing flavours that just don’t belong together. Sweet bread paired with a bland, lifeless bacon. A strong, stubborn cheese forced onto a sad beef burger that somehow tastes like mutton. Fries so uninspired they only taste of the greasy liquid they were cooked in. Beer served far too early — flat, lukewarm, and already defeated. Portion size? Laughable for the price, especially considering the location is anything but prime. A solid never-again. Not tomorrow, not next year, not even if it’s the last place left on Earth. despite the crowd , the crews managed to handle everything well & ensured no one is neglected maintaining a seamless experience for everyone . special shoutout to kaili , she ensured that the operation is ran smoothly while bringing positive energy to everyone , her presence alone makes the whole night alot more better !

I have always come to republic building for food but had never know this Georges is so chill! I must thank Kai Li for her fantastic service! Never felt this welcome! I m here with my 2 besties for my birthday celebration and she even prepare a tasty brownie with an ice cream of her own for me! Thank you so much Kai Li! U r so sweet and professional! Excellent service! Its a 5 out of 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟! If only the aircon service can be extended into the premises, other than that perfect 🤩
