We stumbled upon this charming café completely by accident while dropping off our laundry, and it ended up being one of our favorite discoveries in Da Nang. Tucked away from the busy streets, the café offered a quiet, quaint atmosphere that felt like a peaceful retreat from the city’s daily hustle and bustle. The ambiance was warm and relaxing, making it the perfect place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy a moment of calm. We spent some time simply soaking in the peaceful surroundings, and it was a welcome escape from the heat and noise outside. The coffee was absolutely amazing—rich, flavorful, and expertly prepared. It’s clear that great care goes into every cup they serve. Whether you’re looking for a place to work, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a quiet break, this café is well worth a visit. We highly recommend stopping by for a coffee and taking the time to relax and enjoy this hidden gem in Da Nang.

I recently discovered Cafe Phuong, and it is easily one of the most charming spots in Da Nang. If you’re looking for a break from the city's hustle, this place feels like a literal breath of fresh air. The Vibe: 5/5 The first thing you notice is the lush, green ambiance. It’s designed like a hidden garden with a beautiful koi pond as the centerpiece. The sound of the water and the abundance of plants create a cozy, peaceful atmosphere that’s perfect for reading a book or just relaxing for an hour. The Flavors: 5/5 Egg Coffee: This was the highlight. The foam was incredibly rich, creamy, and perfectly aerated. Banh Mi: Often, cafes focus only on the drinks, but the Banh Mi here was excellent. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside, and the fillings were fresh and flavorful. The Service: 5/5 What really makes this place special is the owner. She is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making you feel more like a guest in her home than just a customer. Her passion for the space and the menu really shines through in the details. Final Verdict: A "must-visit" if you are in the area. Whether you're a local or just passing through, don't miss out on this green oasis!

The cafe is quite quaint and very relaxing. They serve vietnamese coffee staples such as egg coffee, classic vietnamese coffee, peanut butter coffee. Coffee is strong but flavor is very smooth and it is not too sweet. The place is calming as the pond has a lot of Koi. What adds to the charm and warm of the place is the owner, Ms. Phuong who personally greets and serves the patrons. Her hospitality and warmth uniquely gives the place a calming feel.

A truly delightful coffee experience. The salt coffee was perfectly balanced — smooth, rich, and not overly salty. The creamy layer enhanced the coffee’s depth without overpowering it, making each sip incredibly satisfying. The egg coffee was excellent. The egg foam was thick, silky, and fragrant, with a light sweetness that paired beautifully with the strong coffee underneath. No eggy smell at all, just a well-executed classic. Beyond the drinks, the café has a very relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by greenery, natural wood, and a peaceful koi pond, it feels calm and cozy — a great place to slow down and enjoy your coffee. Well-crafted drinks, beautiful presentation, and a soothing environment. Definitely worth a visit and highly recommended.

Beautiful place to have a coffee and a pastry. The espresso based coffee is quite good. Serene environment... except for the digital nomads who like to talk loudly on their zoom calls. But, just give them the side eye and they seem to quiet down.

I got the golden lotus tea. It would have been better if I got it with sugar on the side or unsweetened completely. I found that it was too sweet to enjoy the tea flavor, and the taste of it seemed like a syrup rather than of the crisp tea. As someone who seeks to enjoy the raw flavors of tea, I found it very mid, as in just okay, and a little disappointing. I wouldn't come back for the drinks for what I'm looking for. - I recommend asking to seperate the sweetener, or for the shop to ask about sweetness levels - I was able to ask for less ice which they gave me, I'm happy about that. The milk foam as well wasn't the best I've had. It tasted in the middle of salty, real cream foam and basic whip cream topping of a cake. I'm not sure what it's made from, but it was not too good to me. Smokers hang out in this area, and for me that prevents me from enjoying a place fully. It's no one's fault when it's cultural. The service I experienced was nice. Of course the atmosphere is good with the plants and all.

Really strange experience given the many positive reviews others have left. The atmosphere and decor was nice, more towards rustic and traditional with open-air seating and a river flowing through the middle. However service and food were subpar. It is self-service (order at counter, with no menu given to tables). They serve drinks and small pastries like croissants. After ordering, I waited for a whopping 20 minutes before getting my drink and my pain au chocolat. The drink was too small and the pain au chocolat was not even warmed up. Why did it take 20 mins???? Also, chocolate was very thinly and pitifully layered. After which, they came to my table to check what form of payment did I use. How did they not record my cash payment?? The whole experience was bizarre and I saw other customers also leaving right after finishing their drink (which they waited very long for as well). Sad to say my expectations were high from the many good reviews, but the cafe has to improve drastically to live up to the reviews.

Amazing little cafe, so happy I stumbled across it. There is a koi pond with a gorgeous little bridge, constantly flowing running water from a creative irrigation system that has been implemented, and misting effects around the pond to create a beautiful atmosphere. The decor and furniture has a beautiful antique feel to it. I have noticed in my two visits here that the other customers that are attracted to this place are really kind and well-mannered. Very relaxed and Bohemian vibes. All the seating arrangements are different, so you can have a new experience each time you visit here in a different part of the cafe. Lots of lush greenery and orchids, no AC as it’s open-air but they have fans everywhere. I have not yet been at nighttime but from the festoon and LED lighting I can spy around the place, I think it would be really lovely. The staff are all incredibly friendly and have great English. They will consistently fill up your ice tea and be available for you when you need, and the menu is great. Peanut butter coffee was 10/10 👌
