Ùmm Banh Mi & Cafe

The tofu-mushroom banh mi is packed and delicious. They also ask if you’d like mayo or not, which is very kind to vegans who may forget to ask (thanks!). Sit-down service comes with a cup of cold tea. The sandwich was very good and the tea was refreshing after a hot day. The atmosphere is very quiet, some jazzy pop covers play in the background. Plenty of seating as well, including a few tables outside.

The heo quay (roast pork) bánh mì and the meatballs is excellent, and the iced coconut coffee is to die for. We’ve only been here for two days, and we’ve already come back twice for the same order. The price is decently cheap The service is friendly and excellent as well. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for a quick bánh mì, and it was a great choice. The place was very busy, full of people, and had a lively, energetic atmosphere. Despite the crowd, the service was quick and efficient. The bánh mì was tasty, and all the ingredients tasted fresh and well prepared. A great spot for a quick and satisfying meal!

It’s one of those places that make you feel guilty for not exploring other food establishments while travelling because you keep going back for more lmao - no regrets though. Try the stews 🍲 The egg banh mi is amazing too 🥖 The coconut iced coffee 🤤 Like with most places in Vietnam, they go heavy on the ice in their chilled drinks which leaves you wanting more because you only get about two mouthfuls until it’s over. We tried ordering without ice and they just gave us a smaller portion which is a bit disappointing but it’s so good we just ordered more straight after. Not that deep, not a deal breaker. Will be here again and again and again 🙏🏽

"RUN OUT" (21/3/2026) The most appealing of their banh mi had "run out" at 11.15am. Tried the egg coffee. Whilst much better than CCCP, it fell short of the high standard set by Two Sisters. Here they have more egg than coffee, whereas Two Sisters has a larger coffee with a shallower egg topping. Service is friendly and the staff are constantly visiting tables to replenish the free cold tea. Aircon seemed to be struggling, as it was pretty warm inside. Nice coffee shop; pity about the banh mi.

Best banh mi we've been to on our Vietnam holiday - it's The best grilled pork banh mi we've had - light crispy, sauce was not over powering, just right, and the traditional beats everything we've had in hanoi, Hà Long Bay. The egg coffee is also the best, the beef stew had depth of flavour, it hit all the right notes, perfect seasoning and sweetness. Even the mango smoothie was very very good. I think this is easily the best Cafe we've been to on our one week Viet holiday so far. Going to two ladies after this. Thanks for the recommendations social Samy on YouTube.

We always used to pass in front of this cute place during our stay in Dan nang and it was always full of people. One day we decided to give it a try and we understood why. The Bahn mi are one of the best in town with really delicious options such as chicken teriyaki. I haven’t tried the vegetarian one but to what I heard it is the best one tried so far in Da Nang. The fruits juices are really good too and they kindly offer complimentary tea while you are there. If you are into Matcha, you won’t be disappointed either :) On top of that the staff is extremely kind, always smiling and ready to help. Service is very efficient too. Definitely a place to try if you are in the neighborhood!

This has become my daily coffee shop to work, journal, people watch, etc. The coffee and juices are amazing, and the bacon egg bahn mi is my go to. The Sunshine juice is a must! The staff is so, so friendly and they keep a very clean store.
