Food:
- The pancake was too oily and quite greasy.
- The batter was bland and lacked flavor.
- The beef was well-seasoned, saving the bland pancake.
- The shrimp were quite fresh; the 25k portion had 4 shrimp in each corner.
- The soy sauce was a bit fatty but better than the bland chili fish sauce.
- The grilled pork skewers were safe, had a good texture, and were much better than many other places.
- The vegetables were clean and fresh.
Food hygiene:
- The staff forgot to give me rice paper wrappers. When asked, the staff member was still holding a broom and dustpan with bare, unwashed hands, and was carrying a stack of pastries.
- When cleaning, I saw a large basket of freshly washed skewers drying in the sun. I wonder if the restaurant reuses used skewers.
- The floor was quite dirty, the place looked a bit messy even though it wasn't crowded, but the staff were quick to clean up.
- The restrooms and sinks were clean.
Space:
- Air conditioning, spacious tables and chairs.
- Covered parking area, a bit small, but it wasn't crowded at lunchtime so it was still possible to park inside.
- The design and decoration had some good corners, but some looked a bit dull and messy.
Service:
- The staff were polite and friendly, however, they still missed bringing my order.
Overall: High expectations often lead to disappointment. It's a decent restaurant, not bad but definitely not outstanding. I probably won't visit again.
