We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was excellent, with great quality ingredients and flavors in every dish we tried. What made the experience even more memorable was the outstanding service from Bli Ketut. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and took the time to explain the menu and recommendations in detail. His hospitality and professionalism truly elevated our visit. If you're planning to dine here, I highly recommend asking for Bli Ketut if possible. His service is exceptional, and he genuinely cares about making sure guests have the best experience. Thank you for the great food and outstanding hospitality. We will definitely be back.

I had a really great dining experience at Santanera in Canggu. Every dish we ordered was excellent and full of character. The flavors were very special and memorable — not the kind of generic taste you can easily find elsewhere. You can really tell that a lot of thought and creativity goes into the food, and each dish felt unique and well-balanced. The quality of the ingredients was also very impressive. Everything tasted fresh, refined, and carefully prepared. On top of that, the service was smooth and attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. Honestly, I have no complaints about this place — from the food to the service to the setting, everything was done very well. I would definitely recommend Santanera to anyone looking for a more special dining experience in Canggu.

Love the interior design. And the service is very good. They really take care of each customers. I have make a reservation earlier and keep changing the arriving time due to unforeseen circumstances. But they accommodate it. Appreciate their tolarance and arrangement. We were assigned to a seat that is not our preference but they allow us to change. The foods are tasty, we love the brocolini dish, and the mix to. The grouper also amazing. They do have a set with 1mil per person. But we choose to order ala carte. It's my partner birthday celebration and they gave a complementary birday dessert for each table. It's so kind of them. At the end we spent less than 2 mils with 2 sparkling wine, 1, sparkling water, a mocktail, a dessert, 3 snacks, 2 mains, 1 veggie and 1 mixto.

We had a tasting menu that play with texture, flavor, and colour. We enjoyed how Widi took care of us during our dinner. Chef Andres came to our table and later presented a dish that blew our expectation. The exceptional experience continued even after we drifted from Santanera. We forgot our take away bag and called the restaurant to confirm. They answered and kept our package safe until our delivery guy came at almost 12 midnight. Loved the first time there back in 2022, yesterday was our second experience and a key for us to to put this place on our “let’s do dinner list”. Thank you, Santanera team!

🍷 Come Hungry… and Take the Ceviche Photo First! Santanera was one of those places that feels special the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is incredible—stylish, vibrant, and full of energy without feeling overwhelming. The entire space has a unique vibe that makes you want to stay awhile and soak it all in. We started with the ceviche, and unfortunately, I do not have a photo because we ate it way too fast! It was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to start the meal. Originally, we sat at the bar, but the host was kind enough to find us a table upstairs. The second-floor dining area had an amazing atmosphere and completely elevated the experience. The service throughout the evening was fantastic, and our bartender recommended a wine that paired perfectly with the tuna. It was one of those pairings where every bite and sip seemed to make the other better. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and packed with flavor. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the food and the overall experience. One of the coolest features of Santanera is the rooftop level. There is a third floor with its own bar, incredible views, and a cigar-friendly atmosphere. Reservations are recommended, and after seeing it, I can understand why. Great food, excellent wine recommendations, beautiful design, and an unforgettable atmosphere. Santanera is absolutely worth adding to your Canggu must-visit list.

My partner and I visited this restaurant for the first time after finding it on Google, where it was listed as one of the best restaurants in Canggu. It definitely lived up to the hype and did not disappoint. Our favorite dishes were the Woodfire baby squid and the ceviche mixto, both were absolutely delicious. We were also impressed by how attentive and friendly the staff were. They made sure we had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. To make our anniversary even more special, they surprised us with a complimentary guava cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had an amazing time and created some wonderful memories here. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

This is one of the best meals I have ever had. Honestly. Read the reviews and thought it sounded good but didn’t expect it to be THAT amazing?? Our server, Bin, was so attentive and helpful the whole time. He gave great recommendations and even showed us pictures of food we were curious about! His service made the experience so much better. All the food was great but the wood fired squid is a MUST! Gave the frozen cheesecake with Jerusalem artichoke a try and it did not disappoint. The flavours for all the dishes paired well, the chef knows what he’s doing. First meal of my trip and I don’t think anything else will top this. Will be back again for sure!

Complaint about Santanera Restaurant Bali – Overcharging & Fraud I dined at Santanera Restaurant in Bali, Indonesia on April 2026. I only ordered: 1. Strawberry and Guava Tart 2. 250g Wagyu Picanha MB9 3. Mixto Ceviche (Prawn, Octopus, Red Scallop) 4. Two Cokes According to the menu price, the total should be around 540,000 IDR. Even with 10% service charge + 10% tax, the total should be under 660,000 IDR. However, the restaurant charged me 1,577,200 IDR without any reasonable explanation. This is serious overcharging, price fraud and targeting foreign tourists. I strongly warn all travelers to avoid this restaurant. I hope the local tourism authority will investigate this dishonest business
