Tried the Mala Guo and Collagen Soup, and they were all really good. The Mala Guo was the highlight for me. Super flavourful with a good kick of spice, and adding the scrambled egg made it even better. It's quite a unique combination that I haven't had before. You can enjoy it with either noodles or rice, and both work really well. The Cheese Otah is a must-order. Soft, fragrant, and the cheese gives it an extra layer of flavour without overpowering the otah. Definitely worth trying. Another thing I liked is that if you order lotus root or potato, they slice them very thin and fry them into crispy chips. It gives a really nice crunchy texture and is something a little different from the usual mala ingredients. The Collagen Soup was rich, comforting and a nice balance to the mala. Overall, a very satisfying meal with some unique dishes that stand out from the usual. Will definitely recommand anyone to try this new stall within SSC.

It's fortunate that there's hardly any queue despite the peak period of dinnertime. It is evident the place is much bigger, more spacious and organised than the previous location at sembawang road. The cashier system is replaced with the self serving system where the screen instructs customers to clip the numbers accordingly to their mala bowl coupled by the self paying kiosk. Food was served within 5-10min. Never disappoints with the mala collagen. 955g for a grand total of $35, without service charge and GST inclusive, provides value that's just about 10% more expensive than those in hawker centre, but with the comfort of the strong aircon. Food was absolutely delicious, catered for the local taste. Highly recommended to try the lotus root, where they deep fried it into crispy chips. Overall one of the better F&B places which I hope they stay for a long time.

Definitely one of the better mala tang in the area. The large and spacious dining area is a welcome relieve from the usual crowded set ups. Definitely much better than the old place down the road. The flow of selection, payment and collection is easily understood. Just pick up a plastic bowl, choose from the 2 fridges. Weight the content and select your options. Then make cashless payment and push your bowl into the kitchen thru the service window. Service is relatively fast. A lot of thoughts have gone into this set up. Recommended the fried fish and lotus roots. The peanuts, coriander & spring onions are self serviced.

It might have been our mistake, or perhaps a system issue. We ordered the lotus root expecting it to be unfried, but it arrived fried. After checking the order, we realized we hadn’t actually requested it to be unfried, as we were unsure which items were served fried or unfried. After discussing it with the server and restaurant manager, they kindly replaced it with a bowl of soup containing unfried lotus root. Since the misunderstanding may have been on our side, I thought it was a very thoughtful gesture and a nice example of service recovery.

Was introduced to this local brand of Malatang and found it to be quite impressive. Pricing was competitively affordable. Ingredients are not overly expansive but definitely fresh. Soup base has noticeable collagen added which is part of their unique recipe. Environment is very comfortable at this branch with it's air-con strong, good for eating spicy in comfort. A must try for Malatang lovers.

We come here twice. Recommend my niece to try it out and she likes it but say a bit pricey if compared to kopitiam mala. ☺️ We love the fried potato chips and lotus chip. The collagen spicy soup very yummy.

Been here to eat for about 3 times now, although it was not so convenient from where I stayed but I am glad to drop by this branch to eat their mala anytime. Medium spicy is pretty good for me, I believe I could try the spicier version next round. This time around, is also because of their great service especially the store manager lady which I believe the one in the red cap. Our ordered was wrong but she made a swift decision on correcting our order and gave us free drinks. Really appreciate. We have our orders corrected quickly is all we need so the drinks it was really a kind gesture. Thank you again gurl 😉

This is just my experience but the day I went and ate, the area was slightly empty for its timing around 7.30pm. The area was nice but the food options were out in the open. I got the king oyster mushroom and oyster mushroom for my mala xiangguo. End up the next morning, woke up at 5.10am to vomit twice. It was the mushroom that I vomitted out omg yucks. Anyways, end up the whole day, my stomach had not recovered. Won't recommend this outlet for this reason but other outlets should be alright (as per previous experiences)
