7/10 Overall pleasant experience, staff were welcoming and helpful Flat White: solid cup of coffee, fairly well done, + points for actually being a flat white Shio-pan: great flavor, not too overbearing, but a tad too oily Pain au raisin: flakiness was exceptional, overal texture was great, flavor was average. Some bitter notes from the raisins

We ordered two lattes when we visited on a Friday afternoon. The café had warm lighting and was less noisy compared to other places in the area. The bakery pulls double shots for their coffee, but the staff were kind enough to allow my mother to have a single shot with less concentrated caffeine, upon request. The three bakes that we took home – the Croissant Orange Pistache, Viennoiserie a la Tartiflette, and Truffle Shio Pan – were delectable. I tried the Truffle Shio Pan, which was the last one standing, as customers had snapped up the rest. It had the right amount of flakiness on the outside and fluffiness on the inside, with a pleasant and savoury taste. Service was fast and attentive. I'll be back in future to try the other bakes that caught my eye, such as the rabbit-themed ones that are adorably on brand :)

Wasn’t expect it to taste so good. A home based pastry shop. Croissant with portobello mushrooms is tasty. Mushroom is very juicy with well cooked scrambled eggs. Owner is very friendly .

It’s a nice deli to have a quick meal at. Seating is limited and many popped in to take away- which is my recommendation too. Their pastries do look pretty good. We decided to have a sit down meal. Coffee came fast- not strong enough but the beans are fragrant. However, waited over 1/2 hour for a croque monsieur and banana toast. There were maybe 2 orders in front of us and they were couples.. peeked into the kitchen and watched the two chefs, and feel that for two people, it felt a little disorganised. Would highly suggest for the kitchen staff to relook at processes since the hot meals offered are not complex meals compared to other cafes.

Very nice bakery and cafe. The decor inside is nice, more importantly, the food is good. The hot cross buns are excellent, one of the best I've had - they are definitely one of the best you can get here, much better than la levian, plain vanilla, little farms and gastronomia ones. I haven't tried the pastries. The sourdough bread is quite good but it's not the best I have tried here, it is too sweet, I don't know if it's because they put sugar in it or it's the type of flour, but it is not rustic enough or I guess sour enough. It is not bad don't get me wrong, but it is just missing that. The madeline's are very good, just the price is hard to swallow - pardon the pun, they are $5.50 each which is rather outrageous, I know it's Singapore and these type of bakeries charge a lot but still, that really is a lot. You can get 4 Madeline's in Paul's bakery for $5.80, now granted, they are a bit smaller and not as good as the ones in this bakery, but still.

This was my second visit to this café, and I am happy to say that the experience was just as enjoyable as the first. In fact, the food exceeded my expectations once again and certainly did not disappoint. It is always a good sign when a café can maintain such a high level of quality across multiple visits, and this place has done exactly that. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the pastries from The Lunar Rabbit Boulangerie. Every pastry we tried was beautifully crafted, with excellent texture, flavor, and presentation. The pastries were fresh, buttery, and perfectly baked, striking a wonderful balance between richness and lightness. Whether you prefer something sweet or a more classic French-style pastry, there is plenty to enjoy here. It is easy to see why their pastries have become so popular among café-goers. The coffee was equally impressive and paired wonderfully with the pastries. Smooth, aromatic, and expertly prepared, it complemented the food perfectly without overpowering the flavors. Whether you are stopping by for a quick caffeine fix or a leisurely brunch, the coffee is definitely worth ordering. One piece of advice for anyone planning a visit is to come early. The café attracts quite a crowd, especially during peak hours, and the best seats tend to fill up quickly. Arriving before the rush not only gives you a better chance of securing a comfortable seat but also allows you to enjoy the pastries while the selection is at its fullest. Overall, The Lunar Rabbit Boulangerie offers excellent pastries, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I will certainly be returning again

🔵 The Lunar Rabbit Boulangerie 16 Hamilton Road, #01-02, Singapore 209186 🔵 Location = How to get here? ********************************** 🔵 Use Exit A from Bendemeer MRT Station. 🔵 Walk along Kallang Bahru Road, cross Lavender Street & you will see Hamilton Road. 🔵 The Lunar Rabbit Boulangerie is located in the middle of the conserved shophouses. ➖️ 🟢 I read from online sources that the owner and founder of this bakery was trained at Tokyo's Le Cordon Bleu, the prestigious culinary school. 🟨 Decor/ ambience *********************** 🟨 The interior of the bakery features a modern & cosy aesthetic with a mix of industrial and natural elements. 🟨 Inside the small air-conditioned dining section are high-top wooden tables & matching stools. 🟨 Outdoor seats are two small wooden tables & stools. 🟨️ The bakery counter base is made of dark grey marble textured stone with warm under-lighting. 🟨 The space also features neutral wall colours (grey/brown), wooden wall panelling all round & warm lighting from pendant lamps. 🟨 And a simple wall logo featuring a black croissant shaped like a crescent moon, with a small rabbit cut-out ----- alludes cleverly to the bakery’s name, “The Lunar Rabbit Boulangerie". 🟤 The Lunar Rabbit Boulangerie offers a lovely selection of bakery fare: ▪︎sourdough sandwiches, cube-shaped croissants, both sweet and savoury viennoiseries, plus tea and coffee. Their menu feels thoughtfully crafted --- perfect for a light meal or a bakery snack. 🟤 I had the Ham & Cheese Croissant priced at SGD6.50 ( ➖️ for takeaway). 🟤 The croissant had beautifully defined, flaky layers with a soft, airy interior that gave the pastry wonderful height and lightness. 🟤 Its ultra-crispy exterior, combined with the warm gooey cheese and good-quality ham, made this one of the most memorable croissants I’ve enjoyed in a long while. 🟣 The service staff were friendly and efficient. I asked for permission to take some photos of the interior and the staff said okay. I saw the owner and founder of the bakery too. She was having a chat with another customer. 🟣 I must say I have a very good impression of the croissant I had today, and so if I am at the Jalan Besar area again, would pop by Lunar Rabbit bakery to try their other treats. 🟤 24th Nov 2025 Monday.

Absolutely delicious!! I wasn't expecting pastries that were so close to French ones. We ordered 3 pastries and 2 lattes for $28
