Munchi Pancakes @ Punggol Coast Hawker

This stall at Punggol Coast Hawker Centre actually tasted better than the stall at One Punggol Hawker Centre. Interesting that it tasted different and we chanced upon a senior uncle while queuing at the One Punggol Hawker Centre Stall and he told us the other stall is actually better but since he is at One Punggol Hawker Centre, he just purchase it here for his grandchildren. We particularly like the original red bean paste and the original coconut fillings. The original peanut fillings were rather disappointing to us as we would prefer the authentic “crushed peanuts with sugar” fillings compared to their “peanut butter” type fillings. Anyway, the “pancake” itself has a nice chewy texture which is pretty good. Worth a try if you have the 10% discount from either the NTUC App or Timbre App, depending which stall location.

The Min Jiang Kueh was calling out to me! With its eye-catching stall design and trays stacked with exciting flavours alongside the classic peanut filling, it was impossible to walk away. Each piece of the fluffy, generously filled pancake is a delightful nod to tradition—yet there's a creative twist that makes it feel fresh and new. This beloved SG street food hasn’t just stayed relevant—it’s as delicious as ever. One bite, and you’ll understand why I couldn’t resist!

Tried Munchi Pancakes and they were absolutely delicious! The pancakes were soft, fluffy, and had just the right chewiness. I love the variety of fillings—especially the biscoff a—they were generous and full of flavour. It's a great modern twist on the traditional min jiang kueh. Perfect as a snack or light dessert. Highly recommended!

Great snack in between lessons, peanut munchi comes with peanut butter so it’s not messy. So many flavours available eg caramel spread, but peanut is still my fave! Staff generally friendly and helpful, will offer to reheat the snack
