Fun Toast

My husband & I frequented Fun Toast @18 Tai Seng almost once a week for our lunch. We were impressed by this brother making nice coffee. We managed to know him by Thiam. I noticed he had a lot of regular customers..most of them greeted him. Not only he makes nice coffee but also being friendly & kind to customers is so important in F&B line. He even recommended mee siam to us as we used to eat Chee Cheong Fun there. Today, besides eating our favourite mee Siam there, we even tabao curry chicken rice & soy sauce chicken wing with tau bok as recommended by brother , Thiam. Thanks so much for the good recommendation of food to us each time when we are there. Keep up yr good work!

They should stir their beverage, especially when they discourage the use of straws. My cup of Honey Iced Teh-O tasted like Teh-O Kosong till almost half cup down then I started to taste the honey.

I used to come here regularly, but the standard seems to have dropped significantly in terms of service. The lady in charge of the bread often forgets orders and shouts loudly when they are ready. The boss does not seem to have control over her behaviour, or rather, does not bother to control. The only nice and consistent thing is the uncle making the coffee. Efforts have to be made to clear and wipe the tables, as there are many flies around. Pest control is needed for this building. I will only patronise if no other choices.

Came on a Sat noon. Cheerful and friendly staff (food is the same consistency across outlets). Saw a couple of reviews on the music. Anyway it’s tiring to work in f&b, if listening to music helps to make work less tiring, why not. The music level is not blasting loud and at a comfortable level. Be kind.

Do not buy from here. $3.30 for a cup of waterly kopi o kosong ice and $3 for two pcs of no meat taste, powdery texture siu mai. I dont mind to pay more but please something that up to standard. Please buy from opposite nam kee, cheaper and taste much more more more better.

Every morning go there for breakfast, at times for lunch. Playing sad songs so loud in the morning stirs negative emotion for start of day, the loud music also caused irritability when the aircon is not running at full force. Female staff like to shout and talk loudly :( However, coffee uncle, Myanmar staff are very nice.

Just wanna say , I paid $3.30 for kopi o kosong which is overpriced already yet my drink was not filled to the brim. There was so little kopi being filled and the uncle just put more ice to compensate. Man this mad disappointing. Just go the hawker across, they sell this for only 1.70 and FILL it all the way up

The cashier's service was poor, to make matters worse. Several times I came to get coffee to go, the price varied. Sometimes it was $2.20, sometimes $2.40.
