My family of 14 stopped by for breakfast yesterday morning (June 15th). Initially, everyone was excited because we'd heard so many good things about the food, but from the moment we entered the restaurant, we were disappointed with the service. One staff member (probably the manager – she's pregnant) was very unpleasant. She ignored our questions and was indifferent (at first, I thought maybe she was pregnant and her mood was a bit off, so I didn't pay much attention). I asked for an extra bowl of broth, but she just stared at me and walked away without answering. I waited 5 minutes and didn't see her bring it out (the restaurant wasn't very busy at the time), so I asked another staff member. When I asked for the bill, she just typed on her phone, put it down on the table in front of me, and didn't say anything. I asked, "What's going on?" She said, "Check the bill." I checked, said okay, and proceeded to pay. When paying, I said: "What was wrong with you? You seemed so irritable from the moment you arrived until the bill came in." The staff member replied, "I wasn't irritable at all," and without further explanation, just put the money inside (and not a word of thanks). EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, FIRST AND WILL BE THE LAST TIME. A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE AT TRANG KITCHEN QUANG NOODLES.

Occasionally, when friends from out of town come to visit or when a large team goes out for a meal, I often bring them here because of the elegant atmosphere and cool, air-conditioned space. Instead of serving the noodles in bowls, they arrange the ingredients separately on bamboo trays, which looks quite interesting and makes for beautiful photos for social media. As for the food, the broth is well-seasoned, the frog is cooked thoroughly without any fishy smell, and the fresh vegetables are crisp and clean. The prices are, of course, significantly higher than street-side Quang noodles, but it's compensated by its central location, comfortable seating, and sturdy, clean takeaway boxes. The restaurant often has tour groups, so if you go during peak lunch hours, you might have to wait a little longer for your food.

Our family of 8 visited at lunchtime, so the restaurant was quite crowded, making it a bit difficult to find a seat. The frog noodle soup was flavorful and delicious. The prices were reasonable. The only downside is that the restaurant is a bit small and has few staff, so the service was a little slow. It would be great if the restaurant had a POS machine to support card payments.

Every time I come to Da Nang, this is my first stop, but this time it was a less impressive experience: firstly, the quality wasn't as good as before, the dishes no longer included chicken and shrimp. The prices remained the same, and the service was slow. Sadly, the location on Ong Ich Khiem Street is still the same; there's no sign of renovation, so it's very limited and I'm afraid that serving many people will no longer be enough, let alone visually appealing.

My family and I visited Mì Quảng Ếch Bếp Trang during our trip to Da Nang and were quite satisfied. The food was delicious, flavorful, easy to eat, and authentically local. The portions were good, and the prices were very reasonable; I personally found it quite cheap considering its central location. One thing that impressed me was the automated ordering system at the table. It looked modern, convenient, and quite sophisticated. Customers could easily view, select, and order their food without having to wait too long for staff. The restaurant is conveniently located and easy to find, suitable for both tourists and families wanting to experience delicious Da Nang cuisine. Overall, it's a place worth trying, and I will recommend it to my friends if they have the chance to visit Da Nang.

1-Star Review – Deeply Disappointing and Absolutely Not Recommended Based on a hotel driver’s recommendation, we visited Mì Quảng Ếch Bếp Trang expecting one of the best local meals in Da Nang. What we experienced was the exact opposite and honestly one of the most disappointing restaurant visits of our trip. The first red flag was that we passed by around 5 PM the day before and the restaurant was completely empty. We gave it the benefit of the doubt and returned the next morning at 7 AM—again, not a single customer in sight. After eating there, it became easier to understand why. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming. The staff appeared irritated, unfriendly, and showed little interest in serving customers. There was no warmth, no hospitality, and no sense that guests were appreciated. The service and food only made things worse: * Tea was served cold, and when we politely asked if it could be warmed, we were simply told no. * We asked for hot water and were told they “don’t have hot water,” which was baffling for a restaurant serving tea. * The dishes were disturbingly dirty—oily, stained, and appearing improperly washed. This was one of the most off-putting parts of the experience. * The food was far below expectations: fatty pork, shrimp that did not seem fresh, cold noodles, cold dishes, and frog meat with little flavor. Nothing tasted fresh or properly prepared. What made this especially disappointing was that this was supposed to be a signature local spot. Instead, we found poor hygiene, indifferent service, and food that felt careless and uninspired. There are too many good places to eat in Da Nang to waste a meal here. This was a thoroughly unpleasant experience, and we would not return or recommend it to anyone. Based on our visit, this restaurant did not come close to living up to its reputation.

Trang's Kitchen has moved to a new location; the new place is cramped, hot, and the food isn't as good as the old one on Bach Dang Street.

I tried it out after a friend recommended it, and the food was better than I expected. The service was polite, and I didn't have to wait long.
