Shake Shack

If you asked me how it would be like a few years after when I queued 2 hours in the open at Liat Towers when they first arrived, I would do a Khaby Lame on myself. Shake Shack continued to impress with their rendition of smashed burgers and collab with hawker brands. We find ourselves coming back whenever they have new collab. For my brother, their fries continue to impress. The cheese fries are already quite addictive. Ever since McDonald's removed milkshakes from their menus exactly two years ago (June 2024), we find ourselves looking for alternatives nearby. This BBQ Smokehouse Shack and Salted Egg Fries is a hit and the Ube Coconut Creme which cannot decide if it's a drink or a dessert.

I just spent $40 but all I had so far after 45 minutes was some chilli sauce and water from the condiment station because my food hasn’t come…I went to ask the auntie to check on my order but all she said is wait for the buzzer. Luckily I passed my PSLE some years ago(in fact I even passed my olevels, alevels, even managed to acquire my bachelor’s from NTU(ranked 12th globally)) to know how a buzzer works, so I guess there was zero help. Food rating is zero only because I got nothing to eat😭

Shake Shack in Singapore is a self-service restaurant. The milkshakes are delicious, especially the pandan milkshake, which I highly recommend. It has a strong pandan flavor and a coconut aroma. The burgers are also good. It's just a pity that there are no staff to clean the tables.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Shake Shack, especially Nicholas and Jossy (I really hope I got your names right!). I had accidentally left behind my left AirPod Pro 3 last night and only realised it was missing afterwards. When I approached the Nicholas and Jossy for help, both of them were incredibly patient and helpful in assisting me to look for the missing earpiece. I was so relieved to find out that the team had actually found it last night and kept it safely for me until I returned. It may seem like a small thing, but I genuinely appreciate the honesty, care and effort from the staff. Thank you Nicholas, Jossy, and the Shake Shack team for going the extra mile and for such kind and thoughtful service. Really grateful! 🙏

was elated to be back and try out the new sides but left feeling VERY disappointed. ordered at 908pm and i went to wait sitting down at the table in front of the front expo. later came to realise the people who ordered after me started getting their food already. by then it was roughly 10 minutes in and i could see your expo screen was all RED. then saw even more customers came to collect their food and left and my order was still not done. 925pm and i saw my cauliflower bites put out already. fryer guy was a bit too chill ya… then some communication happened between expo and bun side then expo bumped my order out. but was it fully done? no. i had to wait even more because my onion rings were not even out yet. only at 930+ then i saw my whole order and was buzzed. appreciate the offer for a drink on the house but i kindly declined. was already feeling let down by the whole waiting fiasco. would appreciate if your expo could have buzzed me and informed that my order would take a bit more time to finish up. also it was very concerning that 3 of 5 orders on screen was consistently red when there isn’t much customers… yikes. understand that it’s closing time but orders are still coming through yeah. 20+ minutes waiting time is wild. please let this be a one time thing. quite disheartening to see the shack standard drop. - Ex-NSO

Stopped by Shake Shack Westgate and ordered the “Shack for One” set which came with the Chicken Shack burger, cauliflower bites with honey mustard sauce, and iced tea. I also added the Parmesan Garlic Fries with garlic parmesan mayo on the side. The Chicken Shack burger was juicy with a crispy fried chicken breast, paired nicely with fresh lettuce and pickles in a soft bun. The Parmesan Garlic Fries were fragrant and addictive — the garlic parmesan mayo made them even more flavourful. My favourite item of the meal was definitely the Cauliflower Bites with honey mustard sauce. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and surprisingly satisfying even for a non-vegetarian option. Overall, a very enjoyable meal with good flavours and quality ingredients. My first and last time coming to this outlet. The worst experience i ever had. I waited for 40mins for my meal. Before that, I was at the kiosk ordering my food, no receipt printed out. For charging such a premium price, they dont even install a screen to indicate your order number, when your food is ready. Poor customer experience. The food is expensive and quality is average only. Service is so bad. For the price of the food, quality and needed to wait for so long. Totally not worth it. I could have went to Macdonald, Burger King, or any other fast food nearby. 15 dollars+ for this..
