Fine Food

2 minutes walk from North Tower. Went here plenty of times during my exchange semester week 0,a really nice place for me as a former Chinese student to adjust myself to the campus life since lots of Chinese elements are in here and there are almost no barrier for me to order and have daily three meals with affordable price and familiar good flavour. One small advice will be the larger portion,really can’t fill up my belly with current stall portion<**>

I saw on xhs that the tomato and egg noodles at Finefood's xiaolongbao shop are unbeatable, so I definitely had to try them! The service was super fast. After ordering, the server told me not to leave, that it would be ready soon, and it was incredibly quick. I said okay, and the next second the chef had it for me! It was piping hot, which was reassuring, but you have to eat it slowly. The noodles had a great texture, and the tomato and egg sauce was really well-coated! The seasoning was also excellent, a perfect balance of sweet and salty. I loved it!

If you guys are nearby, you have to try the new 火锅米线 (hot pot rice noodle)! It’s moderately spicy with a tinge of numbness, and extremely fragrant! I also really like that the pot is heated from below. It’s a bit pricey at slightly more than $8, but the portion size and the taste is really worth it in my opinion! I only gave a 3-star for ambience as this food court can get really crowded and noisy during peak hours, like lunch time. You might not enjoy having to fight for a seat. But come during other timings and the place is really clean and quiet!

The place in the middle with a big sign selling waffles have not let me buy kaya waffles for the last 7times I’ve tried. I first tried at 2pm, he said come back at 4, I come back at 4 he says comeback at 5. I comeback at 5 no not today. Next day no, next day no, and so on…. When can you actually buy the waffles they announce on a big sign?

Good and value price food court at NUS

Wanted so much to try this Hotpot Rice Noodle. Waited at the counter to order but the auntie obviously had a bad day and could not even be bother to serve us. Tried ordering but everything seems to be sold out. Should have just closed shop if you are not interested to serve anyone. Never coming back

Tbh the caipng was quite good, veggies cooked well, not too salty, quite generous, even the beef was tasty. But tell me why I only noticed it was raw on my last piece, IT DIDNT EVEN HIT THE HEAT im so cooked fr pray for me

Someone needs to do something about the skinny guy handling the beverage stall… No manners, horrible attitude and kept rolling his eyes when taking orders, even grunted loudly in frustration when I placed a second order?? So impatient and frustrated for no reason despite me speaking to him nicely, what a way to ruin customers’ morning.
