I ordered a peanut butter waffle, and unfortunately, it turned out to be quite a disappointing experience. The most immediate issue was the imbalance between the waffle and the peanut butter sauce — there was simply far too little of it. What little sauce was provided felt more like an afterthought than a key component of the dish, leaving large portions of the waffle dry and lacking flavour. Given that peanut butter is supposed to be the highlight, the dish felt incomplete and underwhelming. More concerning, however, was the texture and doneness of the waffle itself. It was not fully cooked through, with parts of the interior still soft in an unpleasant, almost doughy way rather than light and fluffy. Instead of having a crisp exterior and airy inside, it felt dense and slightly underdone, which made it difficult to enjoy. Overall, the combination of poor execution and unbalanced proportions made the waffle fall far short of expectations. It’s a pity, because with better cooking and a more generous serving of sauce, this could have been a satisfying treat.
