i usually come to cedele for their eggless chocolate cake (which is still amazing) but came by late morning for some breakfast and was terribly disappointed. i don't usually leave bad reviews but this was really 🫠🫠🫠 ordered a mushroom soup but it tasted more like a vegetable soup (celery, pumpkin & carrots i think), bread was dry and cold (thought that the team would at least heat it up) and, coffee was bad too had a sad meal to start off the day, didn't finish anything 😢👎

This place has got to be one of the worst and most unhygienic eateries. The elderly man at the cashier is not suitable to be working in F&B (Date: 30/11/2025 around 12.45pm). I bought takeaway breads and requested for the breads to be sliced. He threw the paper bags (yes, he threw, not put them down but threw) on top of the breads. Seriously what kind of attitude was that? He knew his behaviour could be seen because in front of him was a clear panel yet he still voluntarily chose to display such unprofessional and unhygienic behaviour, he really had no shame, and he had serious attitude problem. And especially for F&B business, this is unacceptable behaviour. Why couldn’t he place the paper bags at the side, why must he throw them on the breads? For Cedele price point, I expect good service and good food quality. With such behaviour from your own staff, it doesn’t matter Cedele uses organic or what good quality ingredients because your own staff bring down the quality of the food. Please remove this elderly man or re-assign him some other role. Don’t visit this outlet.

Emailed the team, but no reply, so here goes. Purchased made on 29 March for a takeaway order, intended to use $2 voucher to offset purchase. Service staff at Waterway Point insisted $2 voucher was for dine in only. Sharing screenshot that shows valid for dine in and takeaway. Cedele, please make this right. Thank you.

Had dinner at Cedele for the first time and tried the Chicken Pesto Thins without cheese. The portion was just right – light but satisfying. You can choose either sweet potato fries or salad as a side; I went with the fries. They were average, but the thins themselves were tasty and enjoyable even without cheese (which I don’t take). Only downside is they close quite early at 8pm, so do go earlier if you’re planning to dine in.

Why today they have forgotten the rosemary jam for my 2 sets of rosemary chicken sandwiches. Without the jam the whole sandwich taste different and the chicken is so hard..

I’ve long been a fan of Cedele’s carrot cake and Ondeh Ondeh. The flavours are still wonderful, but over the years I’ve noticed that while prices have understandably gone up, the portions have become smaller. Really disappointing. Please don’t do this — there should be a proper protocol for your cake cutting.

Tried the Yuzu Raspberry Cheesecake, which was light and tangy. They’re currently running a promotion with a free coffee for every slice of cake ordered. The coffee was decent, and its slight bitterness paired nicely with the cheesecake.
